Great designs and works, i think they are really cool, its mind boggling to me how you done these so quickly, but thats maybe because i'm completely new to this form of art, i would love to learn how to make my own plush is there anywhere you can guide me to that can taeach me on the basics, after designs of course, materials, textiles, stiching and techniques and stuff thanks. great work once again.
Thanks! If you're just beginning with textile stuff in general, (I've just started plushie making), felt and tapestry thread with a knitters needle (not knitting, knitters) make a pretty good start. The felt holds its shape like paper or cardboard would (good for those mathematical people like me). I figure, buy yourself some bright colors of felt (the cheap felt, not the real wool) and tapestry thread and a couple of needles, and do some experimenting. Have fun!
oh kool thanks alot, is there a set technique you use though in order to not have the stiching show on the outside, is that what people talk about when they say they leave space to sew inside out...thanks again.
Yep yep, you sew it inside out then turn it out the other way. make sure that you put things like eyes or noses on first, then make sure that the front of the face is facing inwards. Remember, you can always undo the thread and start again.
